Claudine teaching at Swannanoa Gathering, Asheville NC

Claudine has been on the teaching staff at many music camps, including Swannanoa Gathering (several times at both Celtic Week and Traditional Song Week), and March Mandolin Festival (Claudine was the first woman instructor there!). She has been a session leader in Connecticut and Vermont, and has led workshops at festivals (Philadelphia Folk, Winnipeg, Lunenburg Folk Harbour, Champlain Folk, Bracknell England). She has been on the staff of Connecticut Academy of Irish Music for 5 years and currently teaches there and privately. She has taught mandolin, Irish tenor banjo, guitar, and traditional singing to beginner and intermediate students. Though she is self taught from her experiences while living in Galway, ireland, the Appalachian Mountains, and Nova Scotia, Canada, playing music in Greece, Guatemala, Scotland, Ireland, England and Canada, she communicates well, leading students to their personal best.

Thanks, Claudine. I learned a lot -- both new tunes and how to perform Irish music.”
